Let's get hopping! I've been at my sister's for a few days, aka Studio North. I have played and played and played with the Chalk it Up! paper line. I love, love, love this paper. I am also a high school librarian and am always looking for morale boosters. If you have a teacher in your life, be it your child's teacher, your colleagues, adopt a school, friends, family, whatever, then Chalk it Up! is for you!
For this hop I am highlighting a very inexpensive (particularly with back to school prices) gift any teacher, librarian, counselor, or administrator would love.
These are very easy to make. Cover composition book with paper, Picture My Life cards, combination of both, add embelllishments, and ribbon. Cover with Liquid Glass if desired. (These are so easy I covered one while cleaning up and packing up to come home! All I need to do is add embellishments to #6.)
I plan to add an inside cover and pocket to these before sharing with our new teachers. Great morale booster!
Next up? Hop on over to Fawn Carriker's blog and see what she has to offer with Chalk it Up! I know you will enjoy it as much as I have!

ReplyDeleteExcellent job ~ are you a librarian, too, Debbie? I'm going to try for a Seussish notebook... I'm open for suggestions.
ReplyDeleteThe papers in the Chalk it Up! assortment would be great for this. Use anything other than the graffiti paper and add your Dr. Seuss. I'll play today and post an idea. This is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas. Love them!
